LMS Gold were victorious against Delphi 6-4 on Wednesday. Delphi got on the board in the first inning after Johns drew a walk, scoring one run. Ace Goodnight singled to the left side of the infield, which helped LMS Gold tie the game at one in the top of the third. In the top of the fourth, LMS Gold broke up the tie when Andrew Gosewehr drew a walk, scoring one run. Then a single by Abram McHenry followed to extend the lead to 4-1. Gosewehr earned the win for LMS Gold. The starter gave up seven hits and two runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking four. Camron Venis collected the save. McHenry and Gosewehr were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for LMS Gold. Gosewehr went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead LMS Gold in hits. Gosewehr stole two bases. Next up for LMS Gold is a game at Frankfort middle school on Thursday.
