By GameChanger Media Lebanon Tigers Black took Thursday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 9-8 walk-off victory over Clinton Prairie. The game was tied at eight in the bottom of the fifth when an error scored one run. The game was back-and-forth, but an error in the fifth inning helped Lebanon Tigers Black take the lead for good. A ground out by Lillian H put Lebanon Tigers Black on the board in the bottom of the first. In the top of the second inning, Clinton Prairie went back into the lead after Z W singled to center field, and , each scoring one run. Lebanon Tigers Black jumped into the lead in the bottom of the second when Braelynn C grounded out, scoring one run, and Jocelyn F doubled, scoring two runs. Clinton Prairie tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a triple by B A, and an error. A ground out by Willow R gave Lebanon Tigers Black the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the third. Clinton Prairie took the lead in the top of the fifth. B tripled, scoring four runs, to give Clinton Prairie the lead, 8-7. Lebanon Tigers Black captured the lead, 9-8, in the bottom of the fifth after Brea K grounded out, and Clinton Prairie committed an error, each scoring one run. Audrie C began the game for Lebanon Tigers Black. The righty gave up two hits and four runs (three earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking four. A K started in the circle for Clinton Prairie. The hurler surrendered two hits and seven runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking eight. #5 appeared in relief for Lebanon Tigers Black. Audrie, Jocelyn, and Braelynn each collected one hit for Lebanon Tigers Black. Willow and Jocelyn each drove in two runs for Lebanon Tigers Black. Lebanon Tigers Black had patience at the plate, accumulating 10 walks for the game. Kayla S, Willow, Jocelyn, and Tenley P led the team with two bases on balls each. Audrie and Jocelyn each stole multiple bases for Lebanon Tigers Black. Lebanon Tigers Black stole eight bases in the game. B provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Clinton Prairie with five runs batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day. Clinton Prairie had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. A M and P B led the team with two bases on balls each.
